The elite round of the European U17 Championship is taking place in Falkirk, Scotland. Georgian U17 team faced the Czech team in the second round match and defeated the opponent 2-1.
Alexander Narimanidze opened the score on 35th minute of the match. In the debut of the second half, referee expelled Milos Pudil from the field. Despite this, the Czechs restored the status quo on the 63rd minute with a goal by Daniel Rus. The young crusaders increased their attacks and finally managed to move forward. Luka Parkadze, a player of our academy, scored the winning goal on 77th minute of the match 2-1.
8 Dinamo players took part in the match: Saba Kharchilava, Tengiz Gobeshia, Luka Parkadze, Tengo Alibegashvili, Gabriel Sigua (captain) and Giorgi Robakidze played, while Giorgi Partsvania and Niko Tsetskhladze were substituted.
Giorgi Chitauri's team takes the second place in the tournament table and keeps the chance to get to the European Championship in case of victory with the hosts on March 29.
