The elite round of the European U19 Championship continues in Croatia. Today, the Georgian national team played against Iceland and conceded a draw with a last-minute goal compensated by the referee.
Dinamo player Tornike Dundua opened the score in the tense match on the 73rd minute. On 89th minute of the match, the referee, who added 8 minutes to the match, showed a second yellow card to Nika Tskhovrebashvili and the young Crusaders were left without one player. It was in the added last minute that Stein Oscarsons recorded the final score 1-1.
We would like to remind you that in the first round Vasil Maisuradze's team lost the match with Romania 1-5 and accordingly we lost the chance to win in the group. The Georgian national team will hold the last round match on March 29 against the host Croatia.
