By the decision of FC Dinamo Tbilisi, in honor of the memory of the legendary photographer of our club Badri Ketiladze, an annual award named after Badri Ketiladze will be established for sports photographers.
Our club will award the author of the best photo taken on the theme of Dinamo at the end of each year. Within the framework of the event, after the end of the football season, a photo exhibition will also be organized.
The legendary photographer died on January 22 this year at the age of 63, after a serious illness.
Badri Ketiladze has been working in sports photography for decades and during this period he shared his experience with many young photographers. His role in the development of sports photography in Georgia is invaluable.
During many years of working in Dinamo Tbilisi, Badri Ketiladze added a lot of historical and important shots to the archives and fans of our club.
The wife of the legendary photographer commented on the establishment of the Badri Ketiladze Award:
