Today legend of Dinamo Tbilisi Vitali Daraselia would be 56 years old. He started to play in the best club of Georgia at the age of 17 and soon established himself in the lineup. Daraselia turned into unchangeable figure of Dinamo Tbilisi and Soviet national team. He played in Dinamo from 1975 till 1982 and scored 40 goals in 273 matches. He played the biggest role in victories of Dinamo Tbilisi. The triumph of his career was when he scored the decisive goal in European Cup Winners' Cup Final match against Carl Zeiss. His goal is consdered to be the most important goal of our club’s history. In 1978 he became champion of Soviet championship, in 1977-owner of silver medal, in summer-autumn 1976 and in 1981 he became the prizeman for tree times. Daraselia won Crystal Cup twice in 1976 and 1979 and UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in 1981. He was named among 33 best players for 5 times. Vitali Daraselia tragically died on December 13, 1982 at the age of 25.
