Dinamo players played the first match of the 35th championship in Gori, against the local FC Dila.
The first dangerous moment occurred on the 7th minute of the match near Dinamo’s penalty area. The designated free kick was executed inaccurately by the hosts. Until the middle of the half, the territorial advantage was on the side of our rival, and methodically the match was equalized. On the 35th minute, Imran Oulad Omar found Ousmane Camara with an accurate pass, who broke into the penalty area from the left wing and opened the score with an accurate shot. In five minutes, the football players restored the status quo, Tierry Gailey scored a goal. By the end of the half, Dinamo could once again take the lead, but at the last moment, Davit Skhirtladze's shot was blocked by the defender.
The second half started with the advantage of the visitors, after several dangerous attacks, on the 53rd minute, the captain of the team put Dinamo ahead again. Camara assisted. One minute later Jimi Tabidze received a yellow card for the second time and left the field. Dinamo was left on the field with 10 players. Imran was substituted by Aleksandre Kalandadze. On the 68th minute of the match, Giorgi Kharaishvili made his debut in the Dinamo. After a while, Luka Kutaladze saved his team from Giorgi Gaprindashvili's shot. The hosts got the territorial and playing advantage. On the 80th minute of the match, Zoran Marusic, who entered the game as a substitute, received a last-hope penalty, and the referee showed Zurab Tevzadze a red card. Nothing changed in the rest of the time and the reigning champion started the tournament with victory.
Giorgi Tchiabrishvili's team will hold the next match against Samtredia on March 4. The match will start at 19.00 in Gori.
