FC Kolkheti Poti was established in 1913 and the club was called Kolkhida till 1978. The team plays home matches at Pazisi stadium that is for 7500 spectators. The main colors of the club are white and blue. In 1978 and 1988 Kolkheti won regional championship. It played in the first match of the first Georgian national championship in 1990 under the name Kolkheti-1913. It competed against Iberia Tbilisi.
