UEFA Conference League first stage second leg match was held at Pärnu Rannastaadion, Estonia, in which Paide Linnameeskond hosted FC Dinamo Tbilisi.
Dinamo led the match with an advantage. In the first half, Dinamo players had several scoring opportunities, but they could not use them. On the 69th minute of the second half, Davit Skhirtladze opened the score. Our team still had a chance to score a goal, but 90 minutes ended with the score 0-1 and extra time was appointed.
Dinamo started the extra half actively and Dmitri Antilevski scored the second goal with a pass from Ousmane Camara. After that, Camara hit the crossbar. On the 115th minute of the match, a penalty kick was appointed against Dinamo and Ebrima Singate used his chance exactly. To find out the fate of the winner in the pair, a series of penalties was appointed, in which the Paide players scored and won 6-5.
Dinamo’s head coach Giorgi Tchiabrishvili evaluated the match at the post-match press conference:
"Of course, we are all very sad, this is not the result we wanted. I apologize to the fans, because we disappointed them. Now the most important thing is to understand all the mistakes that did not lead to the result, to draw the right conclusions and to return Dinamo on its place. As for today's game, I think that we lacked concentration at a crucial moment and that's why we lost. I wish Paide success on the next stage."
