Roman Pipia made the decision to sell FC Dinamo Tbilisi. He speaks about this in his statement:
"During the last period, I have thought about it many times and I am sure of the correctness of this decision. This club has been a precious and main concern for me since the first minute of its purchase, taking into account the best interests of Dinamo Tbilisi, I believe that this decision is necessary for the development of the club.
The interest, love, criticism and expectations for Dinamo Tbilisi from the fans, media, veteran players or other groups are always special, and in today's situation, in order to achieve the goals that are suitable for Dinamo Tbilisi, its history and fans, at this stage, my personal financial resources are insufficient to manage the club.
Despite the many disappointments that Dinamo Tbilisi fans experienced at different times, I never put my personal interest before the interest of the club, and I think this step is another proof of these words.
Currently, I am in the process of negotiations with investors who are interested in buying Dinamo Tbilisi or making a corresponding investment in the club. In addition, I would like to inform you about an unprecedented decision for the Georgian reality - parallel to the alienation, I am ready to consider the management of Dinamo Tbilisi in the form of a joint-stock company, where the owners of the club's assets will be interested people from various business and social circles, and the involvement of Tbilisi residents will be of particular importance, since Dinamo Tbilisi was, is and will be one of the main symbols of the capital and its mascot.
