Dinamo U14 team won Ateitis Cup. The traditional tournament was held in Vilnius from November 21-24 and ended with the victory of Lasha Giorgobiani's team.
In the group stage, Dinamo first beat Ararat Tallinn wih the score 2-0 (goals were scored by Ochigava and Tchikaidze), then they beat Latvian Daugavpils with minimal score 1-0 with Sakhvadze’s goal, and our team defeated the host Klapeda with three unanswered goals (Biniashvili-2, Tchikaidze). In the quarter-finals, Dinamo beat Shakhtar Donetsk 1-0 (Tchikaidze), and in the semi-finals, they scored 8 goals against Latvian Marupesh (Sakhvadze-2, Shevardnadze-2, Gogua, Kurasbediani, Sikharulidze and an auto- goal). In the decisive match of the tournament, Dinamo met Ukrainian Krivbas. Our team won with the score 2-0 with the goals of Kurasbediani and Gogua.
Aleksandre Chikovani became the best midfielder of the tournament. The organizers recognized Tornike Pilauri as the best player of the tournament.
