Today, the 1/16 final match of the Georgian Cup was held in Samtredia. Local FC Samtredia hosted FC Dinamo Tbilisi.
Jimi Tabidze led Dinamo players to the field with the captain's armband. The guests started the match actively and from the very first minutes gained a playing advantage, which they did not let go of until the end. Towards the end of the first half, Dmitri Antilevski opened the score with a pass from Levan Osikmashvili. Dinamo won the first half with one ball. The second half continued with the same scenario, and the score increased on 70th minute. After Godfrey Stephen's pass, Stanislav Bilenki technically and accurately scored and the score became 0-2. In four minutes, three substitutions were made in Dinamo and we saw three debutants on the field. Young Gabriel Sigua, Temur Gognadze and Luka Latsabidze entered the field. During additional time FC Samtredia reduced the score with a goal by Levan Barabadze and the match finished with the score 1:2.
Giorgi Tchiabrishvili's team will meet the local Dinamo in Batumi in Georgian Cup 1/8 final on September 13/14.
