Mikheil Meskhi stadium hosted friendly match between Georgian and Latvian U19 teams. The match finished with the victory of the guest team 2:1. Beka Mikeltadze scored the only goal from Georgians. Vasil Maisuradze’s team improved the game after rival’s two goals scored in the first half. Giorgi Zaria who entered the field lately played very well. Levan Isiani, Vakho Kapanadze, Andro Nemsadze and Giorgi Zaria joined Nika Bashaleishvili and Beka Mikeltadze who started to play from the beginning. On September 7 these teams will play one more friendly match. In November U19 national team will host Europa Cup qualifying stage in Tbilisi. Austria, Albania and Wales will be our rivals.
