Dinamo is the winner of Vivacom Cup

Dinamo Tbilisi U14 team is the winner of Vivacom Cup. The international tournament held in Bulgaria ended with the triumph of Mikheil Zabakhidze's team.

The final was held at the Huvepar Arena in Razgrad against Partizan Belgrade and ended with Dinamo’s victory 1-0. The winning goal for the Serbs was scored on the 8th minute by Demetre Bakuria with a powerful shot from the penalty spot. The reliable play of Tbilisi goalkeeper Nikoloz Katchakhidze is also noteworthy, as he saved his team in several episodes.

Dinamo finished the tournament without conceding a goal, which is worth mentioning. They won the previous matches with the same score 2-0. Yesterday, Tbilisi team defeated PAOK. Giorgi Ghunashvili performed double against the Greeks.

Previously, the blue and whites defeated Benfica Lisbon with two unanswered goals (Demetre Janashia, Mate Mikava), and defeated Steaua Bucharest with the same score (Demetre Bakuria, Serapime Kazarov) on the opening day of the tournament.

After the tournament, an awards ceremony was held, during which Dinamo players also won individual prizes:

The best goalkeeper of the tournament - Nikoloz Katchazidze
The best player and scorer of the tournament - Giorgi Ghunashvili

 In addition to the above-mentioned teams, the host Ludogorets (Bulgaria), Fenerbahce (Turkey) and Odil Ahmedov Academy (Uzbekistan) were also participating in the Vivacom Cup. The bronze medals went to Razgrad after a victory over PAOK.
