Head coaches of FK Tirana Emmanual Egbo and Kakha Chkhetiani held pre-match press-conferences at Dinamo Arena media hall before the first qualifying of UEFA Champions League match.
“Coming from the fact that Dinamo plays at home, this will be a little priority for them. Organizational issues touched us more, as we have to solve many issues. Despite these all, we’ll do our best to show ourselves in the best manner.
The words of our club’s president was heard in wrong manner. He said the basket and group was staffed with hard rivals. There were such experienced teams as Maccabi, Karabakh and Astana. As for Dinamo it is equal to our team.
I returned to Georgia after 17 years pause and I can say that the whole country is much more developed, not only regarding football. I am glad Tbilisi has changed so much positively.
FC Dinamo Tbilisi is an interesting team. The chances are 50/50. We arrived here to play football. I can surely say that our team will fight for the next stage. It’s interesting that 17 years ago Dinamo played without spectators. Although much has changed after that and we will prepare for the match.
Coronavirus pandemic brought hard times not only for us but for the whole world. The reviving process and especially hard. Although we returned our form and became champions. Not much time has passed after we celebrated championship. Thus both teams will have chance but we’ll fight to win.” – Nigerian specialist said.
After that Dinamo held press-conference. Kakha Chkhetiani answered the questions of journalists.
“Boys are ready for the fight tomorrow. I don’t like to speak about chances in advance, but I can say that our team will fight to win. No spectators are allowed on the stadium but I am sure we will hear our supporters from outside.
Doesn’t matter we have to play one match or two, we should be motivated on the stadium. Number of matches doesn’t change anything. We have huge responsibility. We should be concentrated and mobilized on each minute of the match.
There are Brazilian, Argentinian and English footballers in our rival team. They are leaders of the team and strengthen the attacking line. Before the match we gained full information about our rival and discussed every detail. We have planned everything. The main thing is to use this and glad our supporters.
We play in Erovnuli Liga and our rival has already finished the season, although they have played Cup final after the last match of the championship. After that 6 players left the team although they were footballers who didn’t play every much. On the contrary Tirana added some footballers. The good fact is we play the championship at this stage and keep tonus.
The last match with FC Telavi wasn’t satisfactory, although the quality of the pitch was very bad. This draw doesn’t change anything. Unfortunately Erovnuli Liga and Champions league have different motivation, but we are professionals and if we want to achieve goals, we should every much with high motivation.”
