A meeting of the Executive Committee was held at the UEFA office. The current meeting format of the video conference discussed the plan to complete the football season and the start dates of the new season. The 2020/2021 season of the UEFA Champions League will start on August 8/11 with a qualifying round. Dinamo Tbilisi, as the champion of Georgia, will participate in the tournament from the first qualification stage – on August 18/19.
Due to the current situation, the matches of the qualification round of the European Tournament will be one-match, and the host team will be revealed as a result of the draw. Clubs will traditionally play playoff games at home and away.

8/11 August – Selective round of qualifying stage
18/19 August – The first qualifying stage
25/26 August – The second qualifying stage
15/16 September – The third qualifying stage
22/23 and29/30 September – Play-off
20 October / 9 December – Group stage
