Today legendary forward of Dinamo Tbilisi Ramaz Shengelia would turn 63 years old. He played in Dinamo in 1977-1988. In 403 matches he scored 179 goals. In 1978 Shengelia became the Soviet champion. In 1977 he took the second place and in 1981 he became the prizeman of Soviet championship. In 1979 Shengelia became the owner of Crystal Cup and in 1981 he won Cup Winners’ Cup. He was named among the best 33 players for 5 times. In 1978 and 1981 Shengelia was named the best player of Soviet championship. In 1981 he became the best sportsman of Georgia. He participated in 1982 world championship. Shengelia was the winner of Europe youth championship. In 26 matches played in Soviet team he scored 10 goals. Legendary forward died in 2012.
