The outstanding footballer of Dinamo Tbilisi, defender Niaz Dziapshipa would be 92 years old today. Niaz played in Dinamo Tbilisi in 1947-1959 years. He scored 2 goals in 214 matches. He is the owner of silver medal of Soviet championship (1951) and became the won bronze medals twice (1946, 1950). Niaz appeared among the best 33 players for four times (in 1948, 1949, 1951, 1952 years). In 1969-70 he was the head coach of Dinamo Tbilisi and in 1976-77 manager of the team. Niaz Dziapshipa died in 1993.
