Ateitis Cup held in Batumi among U10 players ended with the triumph of the little Dinamo players. As in the previous age groups, Dinamo competed with two teams. (It’s worth mentioning that a few days ago, the blue and white team also won the 12- and 11-year-old tournament)
Dinamo beat FC Kolkheti Poti 2-1 on the first match day. Timo Gogichaishvili and Giorgi Gamkhuashvili scored the goals. Dinamo ended the match with FC Serval in a 2-2 draw. The goals were scored by the outstanding players in the first match. Dinamo-2 played with FC Locomotive without goals, and Samsunspor with the score 1-1. Gabriel Gogelashvili made an accurate shot.
On the second day, Dinamo beat FC Bombora 3-1 with the goals of Koto Aleksidze, Andria Piranishvili and Giorgi Gamkhuashvili, thereby qualifying for the quarterfinals. In the playoffs, our team played against Saburtalo and beat the team 2-1 with Timo Gogichaishvili's double. Dinamo-2 lost to Torpedo 1-4.
Tbilisi team faced Kutaisi Torpedo in the semifinals of the tournament. The capital city won the match 3-2 with the goals of Giorgi Gamkhuashvili, Timo Gogichaishvili and Dachi Doborjginidze. In the decisive match of the draw, our team faced Dinamo Batumi. Tbilisi won the final 2-0. Timo Gogichaishvili and Giorgi Kupradze scored the goals in the decisive match.
The prize of the best goalkeeper of the tournament was given to Vano Jinikashvili, and the best defender of the draw was Maxim Zelentsov.
