Georgian U17 national team won a ticket to the elite round of the European Championship. Today Giorgi Chitauri's team played draw 1-1 with Lithuania in the last match of the group stage held in Kutaisi and took the second place in the qualifying group.
The score was opened on the 5th minute in the debut of the match. Rezi Danelia from Dinamo took the lead with an accurate shot. The Lithuanians tied the final score 1-1 with a goal by Dovas Grudzinskas towards the end of the match, thus Georgia collected 4 points, took the second place in the group and earned a ticket to the elite round to be held in the spring.
10 players from Dinamo were called to U17 national team: Saba Kharebashvili, Gigi Glunchadze, Andria Khoroishvili, Giorgi Gvasalia, Mate Shatirishvili, Nikoloz Chikovani, Nikoloz Elisashvili, Luka Tsulaia, Revaz Danelia and Vakho Salia.

Georgian youth team also held another qualification match of the European Championship in Batumi today. Ramaz Svanadze's team hosted Sweden and lost to the opponent without scoring any goals.
After 4 rounds, Georgian U21 national team will share the second/third place with Sweden with 7 points. Georgia will play the next match on November 16 in Skopje against North Macedonia.
