Dinamo players, after the training break, held Crystalbet Erocnuli Liga 34th round match in Kutaisi, against the local FC Torpedo.
The traditionally tense and principled Georgian derby was conducted according to the rules of the genre and was interesting until the referee's final whistle. Despite the playing advantage gained in the first half, Dinamo could not open the score, instead, a dangerous counterattack ended with an accurate shot by Lasha Shergelashvili, and Torpedo went to the break with a one-ball advantage. Kutaisi scored another goal in the second half. Over an hour after the start of the match, Giorgi Arabidze made the difference solid, and Dinamo applied for changes (before that, it should be noted that in the debut of the first half, Andres Carrasco had to make two forced changes. Barnes Osei and Kike Lopez left the field due to injury). 16-year-old Vakho Salia appeared on the field in the capital's debut match. Dinamo increased their attacks and during the last 20 minutes completely gained the playing and territorial advantage. On the 80th minute, Zoran Marušić, who came in as a substitute, reduced the score with an accurate header, and in the time compensated by the referee, Luka Lakvekhiliani successfully changed the direction of the ball and made it 2-2. Dinamo could have won in the last minutes, but Sandro Kalandadze's shot was blocked by Filip Kliaich.
Thus, the match finished with the score 2-2, while Dinamo Batumi won its match and became champion. Our team will end this season with silver medals. Our team will play the next match against FC Dinamo Batumi on November 28 at Dinamo Arena.
