On October 6-10 Batumi hosted international tournament among U14 teams. 8 teams participated on Adjara Cup: FC Dinamo Batumi, FC Dinamo Tbilisi, FC Saburtalo, GFF academy, Valencia (Spain), PSV Eindhoven (Netherlands), Babelsberg (Germany) and Spanish Football School (UAE). Valeri Gagua’s team started the tournament with draw against GFF academy. In the second match our team defeated Valencia with the score 2:0. In the second match our team needed victory to move to semi-final. It competed with Babelsberg and defeated the rival with the score 10:0. Ninidze (2), Partsvania (2), Ukleba (2), Giunashvili, Parkadze, Sherozia and Peikrishvili scored. Our team competed with PSV Eindhoven in the semi-final. Valeri Gagua’s team gained priority in the beginning of the match and played well, although our rival created dangerous attacks and Dato Iobashvili saved our team for several times. In the first half our team had chance to score for several times. Eindhoven scored in the second half. Dinamo attacked more and Giorgi Surmava managed to equalize the score. The match finished with draw 1:1 and both teams moved to penalties. Finally Eindhoven scored all the five penalties and our team -only 4. Thus, Dinamo competed with FC Saburtalo for bronze medals and won the match with Giorgi Partsvania’s goal. PSV Eindhoven won the tournament. It defeated Valencia in the final with the score 2:0. Dinamo’s footballer Gabriel Sigua became the best midfielder of the tournament.
