Today, Davit Petriashvili Stadium hosted the final of the Georgian Super Cup. Dinamo and Torpedo faced each other to win the trophy.
The match started badly for our team, the visitors opened the score on the 3rd minute with a shot by Eliton Junior. The hosts soon got into the rhythm of the game and methodically gained territorial advantage, and several semi-dangerous moments were followed by Nodar Lominadze's attack, who received the ball in the penalty area, but could not hit it accurately. At first, Dinamo appealed for a handball in the opponent's penalty area, and after a while the Guatemalan's goal was canceled by the referee due to offside in agreement with VAR. The visitors' counterattack was followed by Nikola Ninkovic's goal on the 61st minute, and Dinamo players found themselves in a difficult situation. Our team for changes, Saba Khvadagiani, who returned to Dinamo on loan, also appeared on the field. In the remaining time, Dinamo literally stormed the opponent's door. Filip Kliajic was blocking massed attacks and shots at the goal. On 85th minute, Dinamo team still managed to take a goal, Nika Tsetskhladze scored the debut goal with a strong shot. Soon, Sandro Kalandadze shot dangerously, and Giuli Manjgaladze took the ball from the empty goal. In this episode too, a controversial situation arose near the goal line crossing, but the referee signaled to continue the game.
