Georgian Cup second stage match was held at Grigol Nikolaishvili stadium in Vani, in which the local team Sulori hosted the second team of Dinamo Tbilisi.
The guests actively started the interesting and tense match and opened the score with Raul Baratelia's accurate shot on 8th minute. The hosts restored the balance in the debut of the second half with Giorgi Bregvadze's goal. 90 minutes allotted for the meeting ended with the score 1-1. During extra time, spectators gathered at Vani stadium witnessed the dramatic final. On 119th minute of the match, Otar Aptsiauri put the capital team ahead once again, but the players of Sulori were soon able to equalize the score, Anri Zakarashvili scored a goal and the referee indicated to perform a series of penalties.
Piruz Gabitashvili scored the first penalty kick exactly, to which Anri Zakarashvili responded identically. Beka Ketsbaia missed the goal and our rival went ahead with Levan Tskhadashvili's goal. Zurab Eradze scored the next accurate shot of Dinamo, and then Luka Kupatadze showed himself and repelled Shalva Tskipurishvili’s shot, 2-2. Shota Igitkhaniani, the goalkeeper of the host team, played precisely as the goal keeper of the guests and prevented Nika Levaneshvili from scoring, however, Sulori players could not use this advantage and Irakli Bugadze missed the goal. Then Jaduli Iobashvili and Luka Kutaladze scored with two accurate shots, while the hosts equalized with the goals of Giorgi Bregvadze and Shota Igitkhaniani. As it turned out, Otar Aptsiauri made the decisive shot, Ilia Shengelia missed the goal and Dinamo will play in 1/16 finals of the Georgian Cup.
