Ateitis Cup is held in Batumi. Today, U12 teams played the remaining group and playoff matches.
In the last match of the group, Dinamo defeated the second team of Inter Academy 4-0. The goals were scored by Dato Matcharashvili, Andria Sikharulidze, Demetre Gelashvili and Nika Sakhvadze. Dinamo 2 played draw with Samtredia 2-2. Demetre Maskharashvili and Antonio Podromo scored.
Dinamo reached the quarter-finals with the first place in the group and competed with FC Inter. The blue-whites won the playoff match 6-2. Two goals were scored by Sandro Biniashvili, and the rest were scored by Dato Matcharashvili, Demetre Gelashvili, Andria Ochigava and Aleksandre Chikovani. Dinamo 2 lost the playoff match against Torpedo 1-2 and will compete with FC Vikings tomorrow.
The semi-final between Dinamo and Juventus of Turin was quite intense. Italians advanced with two goals, but Tbilisi managed to equalize the score. Andria Ochigava and Demetre Gelashvili scored goals. Finally, a penalty shoot-out was called, in which the Turinese won and got a ticket to the final. Tomorrow, on the final day of the tournament, Dinamo players will compete with FC Samtredia for bronze medals.
