Dinamo Academy hosted a football festival among U12 players. Besides Dinamo football school team, teams from different regions, where Dinamo football schools were opened, also participated in the festival.
Eight teams participated in the tournament:
Group A - Dinamo White, Tetritskaro, Bridge, Tkibuli
Group B - Koda, Manglisi, Dinamo Blue, Dmanisi
Dmanisi team became the winner of the football festival, which defeated Koda in the final match. The main time ended with draw - 2:2, however, Dmanisi players defeated the opponent in a series of penalties.
Levan Gvantseladze, director of Dinamo Academy, commented on the festival:
Levan Gvantseladze: "The main goal of the festival was to evaluate the work of Dinamo football schools in the regions. At the same time, the tournament had a selection character. Together with the chief selector of our academy, Temur Ugrekhelidze, we identified some interesting players and we will continue to observe them."
The tournament was attended by Giorgi Tsiklauri, the mayor of Tetritskaro municipality, and the heads of the sports department of the same municipality.
