Georgian U16 team became the winner of UEFA Development Cup held in Rustavi .
Giorgi Khizanishvili's team defeated Azerbaijani team in the first match after losing to Zambia in penalties. Avtandil Mashava scored the goal on 50th minute of the match.

From June Giorgi Khizanishvili's team will become U17 national team and will hold the qualifying round matches of the European Championship on October 25, 28 and 31 against England, Israel and Lithuania. Georgia will host the qualification round.
