The international football tournament Shota Cup 2022 has finished in Batumi. Dinamo U11 team defeated 35th football school with the score 4-2 in the semifinal today. Zaaliashvili (2), Turmanidze and Kuliashvili scored goals. In the final match, our team competed with Azerbaijani team Watan.
It’s worth mentioning that the organizers held 4 finals with the results of the group stage and the playoffs - bronze, silver, gold and diamond. Our team got the most prestigious trip to the diamond final. Shalva Kvaratskhelia's team lost 0-1 with a minimal score despite a big advantage and won the silver medals of the tournament. (Reminder: in the group stage, Dinamo beat Portus Batumi 9-0, Champion Tbilisi 2-1, Guria Lanchkhuti 3-0 and took the first place in the group. In the quarterfinals, the Blue and Whites defeated Tengiz Sulakvelidze Academy 1-0.
